Shawn Rykaczewski is a Photographer based in the Philadelphia area.

Shawn became interested in photography through his grandfather, who was often inspired by Ansel Adams, but it wasn’t until Shawn deployed to Afghanistan that he decided to try his hand at photography.

After returning from his deployment, Shawn attended Rutgers University in Camden, NJ, where he would go on to take courses in both photography and videography.

Shawn originally started taking landscape and wildlife photos to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps, but took an interest in photographing local punk shows and other live events while living in England to complete his Master’s degree in Marine Biology.
